green hubs now in stock

cranks and hubs finally in stock!

Kazane cranks and hubs are finally back in stock. Cranks are in silver, black, blue (new), purple, green and red. Hubs are back in red, blue, and black, with new colors green and silver. The green will be on the website tomorrow and is really nice. Gold cogs in 14, 15, and 19 are back in stock also. Order tonight and I'll ship in the morning.

i realli don't know much about the kids in barcelona

except that they keep sending me pictures of people having a lot more fun than me. pictures of midnight keirin are here. Their story is here (and Cristian is "sorry for the f**king english"). Next week brings more fun.

i built this up today

for a guy to use to train with while he's waiting for his big-time sponsor to come up with a bike. i just thought it looked pretty good.

what else is there to do in roanoke?

the riding is great here but it's the middle of winter. future famous framebuilder aaron took these pictures last week at the monster truck show that we went to. double-date southwest virginia style. yes, that is a dinosaur that eats trucks and it is named trannysaurus.

update

so I'm just sitting here in the shop waiting for the cranks and hubs to arrive. they were delayed in customs and will hopefully arrive today. this is a little frustrating since i know a lot of people are waiting, especially that awesome dude in nyc who wants green cranks. i haven't forgotten about you.
i want to welcome a new kazane dealer - Cambridge Bicycle in Mass. They've got some frames on the way.
On the road side i have an alan show bike coming in today. it's an XL A-Matrix with campy chorus 10 speed. it's a nice rig and will only be about $2300. not bad for a complete italian bike with chorus.

now delivery is set for wednesday. this stuff is a bitch sometimes. after that i'll have full stock of cranks and hubs in all colors.

custom painted kazane updated

Here's an updated photo of Paul Nannie's custom painted Kazane. He manages Solution in Muncie and he had it painted by a local guy.

good news

Virginia Governor Tim Kaine just got tapped to be the next DNC chairman. When he gets the chance he's a pretty avid cyclist, plus his son used to race as a junior on the club I ran in Richmond. After the last 8 years we need a new cyclist in a position of power to help our reputation.
